Hyundai India, one of the largest manufacturers of cars unveiled this SUV Car at the Beijing Auto Expo 2014. The basic model of Hyundai ix25 is already launched in China and is expected to launch in India by mid-2015. The official launch date of this Car is not yet revealed. The price of this Car is expected to be around 8.50 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom) roughly in Indian Market.
This Car will compete with the other compact SUV’s like Ford EcoSport, Nissan Terrano, and Renault Duster etc. The testing of this vehicle on Indian roads has already started and the Car will launch soon. The vehicle will be available in both Petrol & Diesel variant.
Engine & Performance:
The Indian version of this Car is expected to launch with the tuned version of 1.4-litre VTVT petrol engine and 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engines. Currently Hyundai Verna is powered with these engines. This Car comes with a 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmission for fuel and diesel variant respectively. The engine will deliver 90Bhp of maximum power and 224Nm of maximum torque.

Hyundai ix25 is a very good looking compact SUV based on the fluidic sculpture 2.0 design model. The Car looks big and muscular. Some of the exterior features are sporty bumpers, swept-back headlamps, aggressive lower air intakes, LED daytime running lights, alloy wheels, stylish fog lamps, and spoiler with integrated brake lights.
