With everyone excited over Google's new Android 4.4 a.k.a Kitkat release, the devs have worked hard at extracting the system dump from the Nexus 5 that they've just received. Whenever a system dump is extracted, the launcher is the main target here and Nexus 5's new launcher which Google calls the Google Experience is now available for download long with the stock wallpapers. Read on to know more.
If you havent't ordered your Nexus 5 already then go here Buy Nexus 5 From Google Playstore. By the time you recieve your Nexus 5, you can start playing with the launcher on your phone. All you have to do is install the 3 files below: Google Playservices v4.0, PreBuilt GMS core and launcher itself. After you install the trio, then launch the launcher and you should be fine. You can for now just rearrange the homescreen but you can't add any, that being said with only 2 homescreens and no way to add more definitely feels like a bummer. Nonetheless, you get to install the latest Google Experience launcher without any hassle and so far it works great on my un-rooted Galaxy Note 2 running pre-release official Android 4.3.
