Apple’s brand new mobile OS, called iOS 8 is now available for downloading for iPhones, iPads and iPods. The good news is that this single software functions as a unifying force and work as one. For example, if one has started his work in one device, he can finish it in another.
Similarly, he can make and receive calls in his device like iPad through his iPhone. The continuity is not lost. Now, one can upgrade his devices and install iOS 8 easily. iOS 8 software is available for downloading and updating any iPhone, iPad or iPod, going as far back as to even 2011 models.
The distinct advantages of the new software are many. The features are simply superb. The mobile operating system promises a simpler, faster and more institutive user interface with far greater capabilities. A unique feature that needs special mention is the App Notifications. The notifications are actionable, where the user can straightaway take action in regard to text messages, emails, reminders, facebook, etc. without having to open the respective applications. Thus, his focus on the work that he is doing at that point of time, is not distracted. It is a great facility.

Another interesting feature is the Health app, where it collects information from various health apps and fitness devices (Fitbit, Fuel Band) – as per the preferences of the user - and provides a clear, consolidated overview in one place.
