Ixigo, a travel search marketplace has launched a new feature for its cab app that will allow users to book a cab with just a click of a button. The best part of this feature is that, it allows booking of cab from the places without internet or weak GPS signals.
This feature is currently available at for Android users only. Ixigo explains that the feature uses several combinations of data including the user's location through existing PNR confirmations on the user device in text messages for when the Internet connection doesn't work to book a cab for the user. Currently, Ixigo cabs app allows users to search and book from multiple app-based cab providers including Ola, TaxiForSure, EasyCabs, and Jugnoo among others directly from within its own app.
