The year 2015 will see a number of luxury cars in the market. Jaguar XE is one among them worth a mention not because of its brand alone, but for its pricing as well. It will in fact cost less than its nearest rival, and is likely to give competition to the likes of BMW 3-series and Audi A4. The cheaper version (2.0 litre-Petrol SE Auto) will cost around £ 27,000. In India, the car will be launched somewhere in June 2015 and would be costing between Rs 28 lacs to Rs 45 lacs depending upon the model one goes for. The new Jaguar XE was put on display at Earls Court in London in September last.
The exterior of the car looks fairly attractive in its light weight aluminium and is quite aerodynamic as well. It is packed with a wide range of modern technology and is designed to make one’s journey a pleasant experience. It is further equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot, which enables multiple devices to connect online wherever internet coverage is available.
The interior of the car is well managed. Its InControl infotainment system is clear, intuitive, quick and easy to access and uses voice control plain speech. The InControl Remote similarly allows users of smartphones (Android and iOS) to connect to the car from wherever they are and control a range of vehicle functions, including climate control, locking/unlocking doors, or even starting the engine. Further, the InControl Apps allows users to seamlessly access smartphone apps through its Touch-screen. Thus, the user can do virtually everything from making a an important call, finding a parking space or even booking accommodation in a hotel.

Its laser Head-Up Display that projects sharp, high-contrast colour images onto the windscreen is said to be the first of its kind in the industry.
