Lamborghini has recently launched an exclusive India Limited-Edition LP 700-4 Aventador Roadster which is priced at Rs. 4.77 crore. Lamborghini wanted to present something special for the Indian market - sell where they have found good business possibilities in India. The company has decided to use their excellent selling model for this limited edition the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.
It is powered by a 700PS 690 Nm 6.5-litre V12 engine that is joined to a 7-speed ISR transmission. It is capable of cruising at 100 kmph in just three seconds. The maximum speed is at 350 kmph without the roof guises. The new Roadster weighing 1625 kg is just 50 kg more than the Coupe. To go well with the Indian roads condition, the car features a lift suspension. With the help of a push button, the ground clearance increases by 40 mm taking it to 165 mm. The manual roof modification has been preferred for keeping things simple and the weight down. The company claims that the roof is made in such a way that it would be easy to handle and simple enough to detach and attach.

The company had sold 17 cars in the Indian market till now and is expecting many more in future. Pavan Shetty, Head of Operations, Lamborghini India, said that the luxury cars market in India had seen a reasonable amount of growth in the last few years and it expected to grow at a major rate each year. The importance of car has shifted from pure price consideration and affordability to design, quality and pleasure.
