This week, Lenovo unveiled its first PC on a stick called Ideacentre Stick 300. This Stick is designed to deliver the performance of a Windows PC and it is very small in size. This portable gadget works with HDMI compatible devices and you can plug it into TV, carry it to the office, or carry it in a suitcase during your trips.
The size of this Stick is almost equal to the size of your USB drive. The cost of this Stick is just $129 (which is around Rs 8,000 in Indian Market). Portability is the main idea behind the development of this PC on a Stick. Jun Ouyang (Vice President & General Manager of Worldwide Desktop and Visuals at Lenovo) said in a statement: ‘We have looked at the computing needs of travelers, business people and families, and realized that a truly portable and affordable solution would be a significant benefit to users of all kinds’. This powerful Stick can transform almost any HDMI compatible TV or monitor into a functioning Windows based PC.
The Ideacentere Stick 300 is powered by Intel Atom processor and has 2 GB of memory and up to 32GB of onboard storage. It also has wireless connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The other features include one HDMI port, one Micro-USB 2.0 port, one SD card reader and a small speaker. The stick comes with Microsoft Windows 8.1 which is upgradable to Windows 10.

What about the maximal grafic resolution of these devices? Do they support 1200 point vertically? I could not find anything about it at Intel ("Intel Compute Stick")
