Guess who is running alongside Samsung in the Curved Display race. Well you've guessed right, LG is pulling some strings here and there and now they've finally made it official. LG's first Curved Display smartphone, G Flex was announced in Korea later yesterday and is packing some cool features. Read on to find out.
LG G Flex takes a design sting from its current flagship, LG G2. With a design that is so sleek and beautiful, LG decided to go big and curvy on the screen. The big 6 inch Curved OLED Display with 720p resolution may have some screen fanatics wondering as to why did LG ever decide to go big on the display but pixelated on the resolution, we think LG has as a reason. This maybe a trading point for them when they get a chance to reduce the price compared to Samsung's Galaxy Round. But fret not, LG hasn't sacrificed anything else for that matter meaning G Flex is flexing in the inside.

With a buttonless stature, a Quad Core 2.26 Ghz Snapdragon 800 CPU is placed along with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM, G Flex sure knows how to flex. The finger print scanner which is perfectly placed below the 13MP OIS camera, works just as it should. What's more interesting is that LG put on a regenerative coating at the back which states to remove minor scratches within minutes. Looks like LG is really inspired by Wolverine. LG has a few tricks up its sleeve too when it comes to software. A "dual window" mode allows for a better multi-tasking and "swing lockscreen" feature changes the wallpaper of the device depending on the phone's position and gives different lock screen effects based on the user's finger.
