LG has recently announced about the LG G4 smartphone globally in six cities - New York, London, Paris, Istanbul, Singapore and Seoul. The 2014 super hit LG G3 model has surprised everyone and its successor LG G4 is again set to reclaim the crown. LG's main focus of presentation is on design, display and camera.
G4 will have a leather back which comes in a variety of shades including red, brown, blue and black and the plastic battery cover will be in silver/gray, gold and white. Its display is slightly curved - a feel that is pretty good for a device to have - and it looks great. It packs a 5.5-inch display of QHD resolution and has opted for a Quantum LCD panel, which is said to deliver outstanding color accuracy. It claims that this new display will boasts 20% wider color reproduction, 25% improvement in brightness and 50% higher contrast as compared to the G3. It also packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage are on board, and expansion via microSD is possible.

LG G4 boots Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s latest UX 4.0 overlay and is equipped with 16 MP main camera, 8MP front camera, f/1.8 aperture, laser auto-focus, optical image stabilization (OIS) and spectrum sensor. It comes with support for wireless charging and turbo charging capabilities.
This LG G4 smartphone is expected to be released in early June globally. Its price will be $649 for plastic back panel model and $699 for leather back model. South Korea will be the first country to experience this model and other 180 countries will be following suit soon thereafter.
