LG Optimus GJ is LG's first attempt at making a water proof smartphone that promises performance along with pocket-friendly pricing. Last year as well as this year has seen a few Big Shot smartphone companies like Sony and Samsung release their water proof line of handsets so this time LG has also joined the big leagues. The LG Optimus GJ is IPX7 certified which means it can stand in a meter deep of water for 30minutes and still keep on rocking. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHZ Quad Core Krait CPU, Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB RAM. The phone is quite petite by smartphone standards as it sports a 9.8mm waist banging with a 4.7inch 720p True HD IPS LCD screen. Its also packing in a 13MP rear facer with 1.3MP front facing which are capable of recording 1080p @ 30fps and 720p @ 30fps respectively. The phone hosts 16GB of internal storage and also provides a micro-sd card slot for those media geeks who like carry around all their stuff with them.

Whats more ashtonishing is the fact that LG figured out a way to keep GJ waterproof with a removable back cover! Now here LG truly deserves a standing ovation(clap clap) since no other company was able to pull this off. Removable back cover means access to the phones 2380mAH battery which can be changed if the one that comes with it get spoiled or damaged. Finally the phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and MHL enabled USB port. GJ also supports Miracast protocol support. The only thing that disappoints us is that GJ wasn't treated with the latest 4.3 sweetness so it comes with Android 4.1.2 and a lotta y'all know already how good LG is with its update schedule.
