The smartphones with in-built stylus became quite popular of late because of the ease at which one can handle and use it as a note book. The feel of scribbling with a ‘pen’ balanced a desire to write in a traditional way with the craze of modern digital gadgets, and hence it amounted to blending the glorious past with the emerging technologies. Samsung’s Note 2 became fairly acceptable with a built-in stylus. Note 3 and Note 4 followed soon enough flaunting stylus as an added attraction.
LG quietly introduced and added stylus to its G3 mobiles and christened it as ‘LG G3 Stylus’. This was perhaps to assess the market reaction to its product as also to offer a competition to Samsungs Note 2 and Note 3. With Samsung’s Note 4 entering the market, rumours were afloat that LG too would launch a higher version of its G3 model. The unconfirmed reports in this regard say that LG will come up with LG G4 (equipped with a stylus) sometime in 2015 that could be a creditable match to Samsung’s flagship Note 4.
The information about LG’s latest entry (G4) that may enter the market next year, is sketchy but we understand from unconfirmed reports and rumours that LG is fast on its track to bring out its new gadget sooner than later and is contemplating to replace G3 with G4. Incidentally, it has filed for a trademark of the "LG G Pen" recently. The smartphone is likely to have a 5.3” display with a QHD resolution and narrow bezels, very similar to LG’s G3. The gadget will predictably have Snapdragon 810 chipset and 4GB RAM. The storage capacity would be 32GB and 64GB variations. While it is difficult to get further details, we are sure, LG’s G4 is going the make the high-end Mobile market pretty hot in the months to come.
