LG’s latest show-piece LG Magna (LG-H502F), which was formally launched globally only a few weeks ago at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona has come to India with a bang. It is now available here for sale beginning Tuesday the 28th April. Priced at around Rs 16,000/- this phone is destined to create ripples in the smart-phone market especially on account of its premium design, high-ended features and moderate cost, and is comparable with some of the more expensive models.
LG Magna is a Dual SIM phone that runs on the latest version of Android (Lollipop 5.0.1) and comes with 1 GB RAM. It has an internal memory of 8 GB and a micro-SD card slot with a provision for up to 32 GB of external memory. The 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and Mediatek MT6582 - H502 model chipset make the device pretty powerful. Magna flaunts a sufficiently powerful 8 megapixel (3264 x 2448 pixels) auto-focus primary camera with LED flash and CMOS sensor. The secondary camera is of 5 megapixels.
The handset possesses the usual features like WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio with RDS and micro USB v2.0 etc. Equipped with IPS LCD capacitive touch-screen, it has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The Battery (Li-Ion) is of 2540 mAh, said to be good for 350 hours in the stand-by mode. It would last for 10 hours of talk-time. It is believed, the device would be appealing to first timers and those seeking to upgrade their handsets. The device is easy on hand, and is weighing only 137 gram with 5.50 x 2.75 x 0.40 inches dimension. It is available in three colours – black, white and gold.
