Mahindra & Mahindra after the great success of 2012 XUV500 has launched its new Age XUV500 facelift on 25th May, 2015. This new Age XUV500 looks like cheetah has a nice trim and shave at the front with day light LED passing through the head lamps. Head lamps are now projectors with aggressive Mahindra & Mahindra grill in the middle.

Except for minor interior and cosmetic updates in the front, vehicle remains unchanged. However with 31 new features offered in top end variant of XUV500 makes it a premium class SUV in the market. Engine of XUV500 facelift is same as earlier version i.e. MHawk 2.2 Litre diesel engine which we usually find in Mahindra Scorpio. Also the high end variant W10 comes with keyless entry that allows you to enter and start the car without using key. Just keep your key in your pocket and you are good to go.

ENGINE & PERFORMANCE
Mechanically, there are aren't any changes in terms of Engine. The 2.2 Litre mHawk engine produces the same 140 PS of power and 330Nm of torque. But, the engine has being refined to cut down noise which felt lot more linear. We couldn't test the vehicle but will soon find out if it is quicker than earlier. Company's figures claims that XUV500 will give upto 16kmpl on highways and 14kmpl in city.
INTERIORS & EXTERIORS
Once you enter into this new Age XUV500 you will be greeted with all new Black & Beige interior packed with many storage spaces, 7 Inch touch screen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, push button to start or stop, leather seats, automatic climate control and sunroof control at the top.
You can pair upto 5 bluetooth devices to this infotainment system that allows you to play music, videos, search contacts and even can call without touching your phone. There are many more features listed under as a summary.
