There is virtually no end to the launching of new smartphones with higher and superior features at prices that seem fairly affordable. China has not been lacking in its effort to claim a sizeable share in the smartphone market with gadgets after gadgets coming up in quick succession. Phone makers like Huawei, ZTE, Xiaomi, Lenovo, etc. have virtually flooded market with their products. Now Meizu has launched its latest Android Operated (5.1 Lollipop) smartphone Meizu m2 - a smaller variant of its popular Meizu m2 Note - this week, with features comparable with some of the best in the market.
Meizu m2 is a 5-inch HD sleek colourful good looking budget phone powered by 64-bit quad-core Cortex-A53 processor with clock speed of 1.3GHz. The highly efficient multi-processing technology allows the CPU and GPU to operate together in perfect order. The phone is equipped with fairly powerful cameras - the rear one is of 13 MP with F/2.2 aperture, while the front one flaunts a 5 MP camera with F/2.0 aperture. This apart, the device with 2GB RAM and Samsung’s advanced eMMC high-speed flash memory would ensure smooth and trouble-free performance.
The Phone will first be available for sale in China shortly. It would take some more time for the gadget for retail sale in India. Meizu m2, produced in four different colours - Blue, Pink, Grey and White – will be sold at around Rs 6,200 in India. It could pose serious challenge to many established phone makers in India and abroad.
