Mercedes is yet to set a benchmark with its upcoming Mercedes GLE SUV 2016 model. This sports car will be officially launched by the company on October 14 and will be available in the Indian market soon. Move over the Mercedes M-Class, there is a new thug in town. Mercedes India is all set to launch the facelift version of the M Class SUV, called the Mercedes GLE on October 14. The car will be assembled at the company's factory in Pune.
Engine & Performance
The new Mercedes GLE 2016 model is expected to come with two diesel engine options- 250d and the 350d engines. The 250d variant will be bundled with a 2.1-litre, four-cylinder and V6 turbo-diesel engine which gives out power of 204bhp and a peak torque of 480Nm.
It is mated to the new 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox, while the 350d variant will be powered by a 3.0-litre, V6 diesel engine producing maximum power output of 254bhp and maximum torque of 618Nm.

Interior & Exterior
The interior like always looks spectacular and never tell you get out of the car. It is packed with high-gloss wood trim, stitched leather, and well-crafted seat elements. At the center of the dashboard, a large touch screen looks like an iPad mounted between two AC vents. It has featured rich infotainment system which allows to control music and videos from your smartphone via Bluetooth connectivity.
The exterior of the device has a large Mercedes logo below the bonatt surronded by condensor vents. It is also packed with Mercedes alloy wheels around the powerful disk brakes.

Styling, Safety & Pricing
There is of course no doubt that Mercedes GLE 550 is much better than the earlier M Class. It comes with 6 air bags, ABS and high stability brakes in all the wheels. Also this car is 4 wheel drive, so chunking around the mountains is now easy and without fear.
Pricing of the car varies from Rs 73 lakhs to Rs 78 lakhs depending on the version you have opted for.
