Micromax has launched Canvas Nitro A310 priced at Rs. 12,900 at an event in New Delhi, . The smartphone will be sold exclusively by Snapdeal. Speaking on the launch of Canvas Nitro (A310), Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax said that it been his endeavour to give attention to Indian consumers for improved understanding of their ever growing needs. He said that the business partnership with Snapdeal made things easier for millions of new-age Indian customers who preferred to shop online for getting Canvas Nitro A310 with just a few clicks.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS screen with an oleophobic coating. While Micromax didn't give any detailed information on the type of glass, the company says that the oleophobic coating makes the smartphone screen scratch–proof. The display appears to be decent with no problems in viewing angles under indoor and outdoors lighting conditions. In addition to this, Micromax Canvas Nitro flaunts a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, embedded with 2GB of RAM. It is claimed that the MediaTek SoC powering the smartphone, can use all eight cores at the same time. The smartphone promises of seamless multi-tasking and improved application performance.

The Canvas Nitro features a 13-megapixel primary camera with an LED flash on the back, and a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The connectivity options include features like EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM radio. On the whole, we believe, Canvas Nitro stands a good chance of acceptability in the Indian market.
