For all those keeping track of gadgets, there are surprises after surprises. The first surprise is the launch of Micromax’s Yu Yureka phone with several high-ended features and the second one is its price element – the feature-filled gadget is priced at just Rs 8,999. The latest surprise is – hold your breath – that soon after it was placed for third flash sale this Thursday, the entire stock of 10,000 phones were sold out in just three minutes flat. Incredible!
The reasons for the unusual demands are not far to seek. In a moderately priced handset costing less than Rs 9k, one would rarely expect features like 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB (via microSD), HD display with Gorilla glass, 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit CPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, integrated Adreno 405 GPU @550MHz, 2GB of RAM and a high-powered rear camera (13-MP) Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and flash. In view of high demand for Yu Yureka phone, the company has promised to make another flash sale for which fresh registration would begin on the 5th February at 2:00 PM (IST).

The procedures for buying the handset is indicated below –
Step 1 – Log into your Amazon.in account a few minutes before sale at 2 PM every Thursday
Step 2 – Open Amazon.in/Yu in your browser
Step 3 – Add Yureka to your cart when the sale starts, and check out the the prodct within 15 minutes
Step 4 – In casse of sale out, you may be asked to join the wait-list
Step 5 – If the original buyer fails to complete the order within 15 minutes, the phone will become available to the wait-listed customer
Step 6 – If wait-listed an alert will popup notifying when the handset will be available
Step 7 – You will have three minutes to Add-to-Cart, and 15 minutes to check out
It may be mentioned that if you are logged in from mobile, the wait-list option will not be visible. The customer will be given only one device through this process.
