Microsoft Lumia has unveiled this week yet another affordable smart-phone – Lumia 540 Dual SIM – which runs on Windows 8.1 operating system. It not only contains some very useful features but is inexpensive as well. The price is below USD 150 - around Rs 9,400 in terms of Indian Rupee. Apart from the fact that Lumia 540 offers the advantages of Microsoft - Office, Skype, OneDrive etc. – it has additionally taken into account the present trend and needs of the smart-phone users.

Powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Microsoft Lumia 540 flaunts a 5-inch full HD display (1280x720 pixel). The main camera (8 MP – 3264 x 2448 pixels) is powerful enough and has auto-focus facility and LED flash. The front camera (5 MP wide-angle) goes well with the existing trend. It has a removable Li-Ion 2200 mAh battery that provides power backup for 3G of up to 15 hours of talk time and 576 hours of standby time. It will be available in black, blue, grey, orange and white colours and will most probably be put on sale by the end of next month.
