The software giant Microsoft has very recently rolled out a major update in regard to its OneNote app for iPhones – called version 2.3 - which is optimized for iPhone 5. This is available free for download in the app Store. The app can further be downloaded in iPod Touch and other devices, In fact OneNote for iPhones enables the user to insert files, password-protect sections and add PDF printouts.
It also facilitates creation of notebooks, organizing them and using formatted text and finally saving them to OneDrive for retrieving them conveniently whenever needed. The updated app now brings universal features like file insertion and document viewing. It thus enables one to insert office documents, PDF files, Power Point decks and other materials directly into his notes, open them with a double-tap, and share them using AirDrop. In the Protected Sections, however, the user gets the option to lock or unlock password-protected sections created in OneNote for Windows. A PDF printout can also be added to any page in a notebook.
The app will help move and reorder sections. The user also gets the freedom to move pages anywhere inside OneNote as he per his preference. Since the formatted text is supported by the app, any item pasted into OneNote will appear perfectly like the one intended by the user to look like. Creating new notebook provides the choice to decide as to where precisely one wants that to be stored. Thus the present update provides greater control over note creation, organization and access.
