Microsoft has recently upgraded its free web development software ‘WebMatrix’ and rechristened it as WebMatrix Refresh 2. The objective was to make the task of websites development through open source web apps easier. The unique feature of this application is the ease with which one can develop his websites even in offline mode.
The installation process is simple enough. All that the user has to do is to make his choice of all the relevant open source applications, and the WebMatrix would automatically do the requisite configuration. With the help of integrated FTP client in WebMatrix, one can publish his site into remote web server (web hosting) with just one click.
