Microsoft have planned to give a official update of Windows 8.1 called the Windows 8.1 Update 1 on March 11, 2014 as free to all the running Windows 8.1 users and allows them to download it directly from the Windows Store. Read on.
This update will take less memory and minimum disk space to show its excellence and due to which it will work best on low end tablets or PC or laptops. Windows 8.1 update 1 allows you to pin Metro or Windows 8 style apps or apps downloaded from Windows Store in the taskbar for easy access during the usage of desktop mode and switch between them in a single swipe. Moreover it also helps to make bridge between desktop and Metro apps for sharing data or files. Microsoft have also planned to give a quit button on the right side top corner of Metro apps.
