Not only was Nexus 5 the most rumoured and leaked device, it is also the most tampered with device too. By "tampered" we mean devs constantly diving into its stock Google system and pulling out the system apps so that people who do not have a kitkat to taste yet, are now able to all thanks to our loyal dev community. So that being said, the nexus 5 is now being ripped of its many system apps like clock, gmail, calendar, google keep, camera, hangouts and stock keyboard and are now available for download.
The devices running older versions than Android 4.2 are reported to have some issues like FCs and weird stuff happening with the Nexus 5 system apps that they've installed but devices running Android 4.2 or above seem to have no problem at all. Almost all the apps seem to run fine without any glitches and hiccups. Below is a list of all the recent system apps that have been ripped from Nexus 5 and report to be working pretty well.

- Google stock Keyboard.
- Hangouts v2.0.
- Google Keep.
- Gmail v2.0 (3 files inluded, install them all. File 1, File 2 and File 3).
- Google stock Camera(photosphere seems to cause some trouble though).
- Clock.
- Google stock Gallery.
- Google stock Calendar.
