Moto G (2014) is a recent Android-based addition – launched this month itself - to the series of smart-phones Motorola has launched during the last few months. The gadget is a 5 inch piece weighing 149g with 720x1280 display with capacitive touch-screen, and is priced around Rs 13,000 in the Indian market. Powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor with Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400, the phone is sleek and decent-looking.
Moto G flaunts a 8-MP back camera with 3264 x 2448 pixels. It has geo-tagging facility apart from the auto-focus and LED flash features. Features like face detection, HDR and panorama have added to its usefulness for photographers. The video recording mode too is reasonably acceptable as the recording can be made at 720 frame per second. The 2-MP front camera is good enough for tasks like video calling etc. The internal memory is 8/16 GB while the expandable memory, through micro SD card – can be to the extent of 32 GB.
