Want to migrate from Android to iOS? Yes, there may be many who would like to switch over from their Android mobile to an Apple phone. The nagging question was – how do I transfer my data from my earlier phone to an iOS device? Apple has now developed an App that facilitates migration of your Android content automatically and securely to iOS device. The app is very appropriately called: ‘Move to iOS’ and is now readily available for free download at Google’s Play Store.
Earlier it was a tedious job to switch over from Android OS to iOS, since it entailed saving your data prior to the switch over in your computer as a measure to prevent loss of data. This probably prevented quite some Android users to try iOS. Apple has recently launched the new app to wean away the Android users to iOS. Now with the help of the app, one can conveniently and securely transfer all sorts of data, like your contacts, message history, photos and videos, web bookmarks, calendars, mail accounts, etc. to iOS.

All that one needs to do for data transfer is to download the app. When you decide to migrate the content, your iOS device (iPhone or iPad) will create a private Wi-Fi network and will soon detect your Android phone running ‘Move to iOS’. Once you have entered the given security code, it will initiate migration of data from Android to iOS, and will place them at appropriate places. After the transfer of data, it will set up your default mail account. Your iOS device will now be ready for use. It is that easy.
