Google's latest android tablet in the 7inch department sees a new hero: Nexus 7 2 or Nexus 7 2013. This tablet is packing some killer hardware along with a super cheap price tag of just $229 for the 16GB and $269 for the 32GB model. Read on the review below.
Google with ASUS might be giving Apple's iPad mini a run for its money by introducing the all new Nexus 7 tablet. By that we mean some super hardware like a 1.5GHZ Quad Core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU along with Adreno 320 GPU to push the graphics. There's also 2gigs of RAM for the those graphic intensive games and apps. Games like Real Racing 3 were having trouble running on other devices but the new Nexus 7 shows no stutter whatsoever. As usual it runs the latest version, 4.3. This means it will have all the software goodies present in 4.3 like Multiple User accounts, Daydream, Lockscreen Widgets to name a few.

What surprises us is that the fact that Google was able to feed in a FULL HD IPS Display with a resoultion of 1920 x 1200 pixels giving it the crown for the 7inch tablet with the highest resolution. The tablet also comes with the usual stuff GPS with A-GPS connectivity, Wifi and 3G/4G models will also be available soon. Some new cool additions to the tablet are 5MP camera at rear and thinner profile at just 8.65mm with bottom rear positioning of the speakers which doesnt muffle the sound even when you cup them up. The 3950MAh helps give a 9-10 hours of video playback and 10 hours of web browsing on a single charge. The tablet can also be charged wirelessly with the help of a Qi charger so power users wont have to worry about that dreading moment of a shut down while playing around with the tab in your office.The battery has been dwarfed a little but that doesnt shrink our usage so thats good.
