Nikon D3100 New Entry Level DSLR Review

Nikon has recently introduced its latest camera, Nikon D3100. This camera is very competent and ultra-lightweight DSLR. The company has made several key upgrades to that model. Most notably the new D3100 now features Live View and video recording facilities indeed it becomes the first Nikon DSLR to offer 1080p video recording in addition to 720p.

The D3100 features a full HD video recording with a 3 inch screen also has a 14.2 megapixel sensor, ISO 12800, and 11 focusing points. It has come up with a new feature called live-view. The Nikon D3100 comes with a Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm VR lens, which is equal to 27-82.5mm in 35mm film terms. At the same time it features a Silent Wave Motor that should help keep lens noise down in videos. The camera has HDMI out and SDXC memory card support, which is further expandable up to 64 GB. Additionally, it features a new live view switch and video button, shooting mode switch for continuous shooting, microphone, speaker, and HDMI out, a new 14.2 megapixel sensor, as well as an EXCEED 2 processor that will speed up performance of the camera.
