Nikon announced the launch of its latest DSLR camera Nikon D750 on Friday. The company claims that the D750 is the smallest and lightweight FX-format DSLR camera. The camera is equipped with features like ability to catch full-frame HD images, a full length twenty four megapixel CMOS sensor, and a good ISO range. The D750 camera is priced at Rs. 1,34,450 exclusive of lens kit. According to the company, (+ AF-S NIKKOR 24-120MM F/4G ED VR) lens kit will be available from the month of November 2014.
The Nikon D750 features a 24.3-megapixel CMOS sensor and has four image-processing engines inside the body. The body of camera is built up with carbon-fiber reinforced thermoplastics and magnesium alloy. It has an effective ISO range of 100 to 12,800. This DSLR comes with a fifty-one point auto-focus system and a new AF sensor (the sensor used to detect focus) module that enhances low-light performance. In addition to this, it also records FHD (1920x1080/60p) videos at 60fps. Perhaps more importantly, it is a full-frame HD camera for both, layman buyers and professional photographers.

The camera offers high-speed continuous shooting at around 6.5 fps. It has a 3.2-inch LCD monitor and a viewing angle of 170-degrees. Users can also adjust the color balance according to their need. It also offers a built-in Wi-Fi and Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility App. By using this application, the user can transfer the images from the D750 to any compatible smart device depending on his preferences. Hiroshi Takashina, Managing Director, Nikon India Pvt. Ltd, speaking about the new launch, asserted that with this addition of Nikon D750 he aimed to strengthen Nikon's foothold in the world of photography.
