Panasonic has announced the Lumix DMC-FZ300, a successor of Lumix DMC-FZ200. It has 24X superzoom equipped with 4K video and this Camera is designed to withstand a little bit of bad weather. The price of this Camera is expected to be around Rs 38,000 in Indian Market ($600). The main highlight of this Camera is 24x optical zoom and 4K (3,840 x 2,160) video recording.

In 2012, Panasonic announced the 12-megapixel Lumix FZ200 which is a 24x zoom camera with a constant f2.8 aperture. Due to these features Lumix FZ200 was favourite superzoom Camera of many people. Now it has finally got a replacement with the new enhanced DMC-FZ300. Panasonic claims that this Camera is the fastest among its category. This Camera will be available in stores from October 2015. Though the Camera is little heavier compared to others in this segment, the compact design and texture offer great handling. This Camera also has a weather sealed body which makes it Dust-proof and Water-proof.
The main features of this superzoom Camera are 25-600mm f/2.8 constant aperture Leica lens, 24x optical zoom lens, Splash or dust-proof with weather-sealed body, 4k photo and video, stereo sound recording, 1/ 2.33inch and 12.1mp high sensitivity CMOS Sensor, 0.7x 1440k dot EVF with eye sensor, 3-inch 1040k touch LCD screen, , 5-axis hybrid OIS+, ISO100 to ISO6400, 12fps continuous shooting, 6fps with AFC, 3.5mm microphone socket and 380 shot battery life.
The connectivity features include USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/sec), mini-HDMI, Microphone port, Headphone port, Built-In Wireless notes 802.11b/g/n and Remote control - wired or using Smartphone.
