After a long time, Panasonic has come up again with a new mirror-less camera called Panasonic Lumix GF7. Concentrating on the selfie trend running of late, Panasonic has gone ahead and manufactured a mirror-less camera that features a 3-inch touch-screen display that can flip up to 180-degrees to help capture selfies.
The software inside the camera detects face, when the screen is flipped, and it mechanically enters into selfie mode.The gadget is equipped with a clever artificial intelligence mode, which captures selfies automatically. A Face Shutter captures an image when one waves a hand in front of the camera. Similarly, it has a Buddy Shutter mode that activates automatically when two people squeeze together. The Panasonic Lumix GF7 is even smaller and lighter than the previous GF6 model that it replaces. The Panasonic Lumix GF7 updates the Panasonic Lumix GF6, and is a new, more compact camera with 16 megapixel sensor. Other upgrades include a new Venus image processing engine, improved AF performance with low-light focus down to -4EV.
The Panasonic Lumix GF7 offers 1080p HD, viz. 1920 x 1080 movies and 720p HD movies at 60/50/24fps. In addition, it can also record MP4 movies at 1080p HD and VGA 640x480 pixels images at 60/50/30/25 fps. Predictably, this is useful as the format can currently be shared more easily.
