Two years ago, Ricoh launched the Theta spherical camera which was a huge success. Now, Ricoh has announced another camera called Theta S which is a brand new model. This new camera is capable of shooting super-high resolution 360 degrees spherical photos and videos in one shot. It also features a live preview function. This tiny camera is smartly priced around Rs 23,000 roughly in Indian market.
This camera also has greater compatibility options with popular social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, etc,. With the help of this camera you can create your own Google Street View experiences. Ricoh's Theta S is announced at IFA 2015 event and promises to deliver more while remaining just as easy to use as the original. This camera captures spherical images up to 14 megapixels and record spherical video in full HD at 30 fps with a maximum recording time of 25 minutes. Moreover, after capturing something spherical, you can now share it on Ricoh's own site: theta360.com. Surprisingly, this camera also has 8 GB internal storage.
