The latest app named "Ride Along - Cricket Fan" seeks to provide the Indian cricket team fans a real life experience and a feel as though they are in the stadium itself with Indian players around. Koshy K. Varghese, Executive Vice President, Narketing, MRF said that, "While the last World Cup was in India, this time Indian fans will not get a chance to experience the action live and most of them will be glued to the TV screens". He further added, "MRF wanted to give these fans a chance to feel as if they were in a stadium. So we built the 'Ride Along - Cricket Fan App', calling it the first "real-time, second-screen" fan engagement app for cricket. The app brings you the elements like live scores and commentary and also gives you a chance to applaud for Virat Kohli when he hits a century.
The app is something that the cricket fans have never experienced before. The company said that It gives the fans an opportunity to win prizes as well. The company also promised to provide every cricket-fan a chance so that this could fuel conversations around cricket.
