IRCTC, Make-My-Trip, Red-Bus, Taxi Operators’ site, etc. Now, here is an app that would get you all the relevant details in a single site. The app, called Routify, helps you look for various options to reach to your destination. Not only that, it also provides information in regard to price, duration, schedules, etc. Thus, this app will prove very useful for travellers, especially the first-timers, in chalking out their travel-plan with greater ease.
Routify is a unique smart-phone app developed by two young graduates from IIT, Delhi. The innovators, Ronak Gupta and Abhishek Aggarwal, kept in mind the problems usually faced by the traveller in going through multiple sites while developing the app. The present app, Routify, only requires the user to indicate the starting point, ending point and the date of journey. Routify searches for the traveller the various mode of communications available (giving various options) with all the related details for the journey. For instance, a journey from a traveller from his residence at Chennai to Dehradoon may involve use of cab, a flight, a train, a bus, etc. If he wishes to change his mode, he can look for alternatives.

The app is available free for Android at Google’s Play Store, and has been given a rating of 4.9 by the users. It is reportedly easy to operate and fairly user-friendly. As it saves valuable time and efforts we believe, it will become quite popular with all those who are on the go most of the time.
