Royal Enfield has fully revealed its newest creation called the Continental GT. The Royal Enfield Continental GT cafe racer was first unveiled at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. It was launched in the global markets in the middle of 2013 and is now available in India. The Royal Enfield Continental GT is priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (on-road Delhi) and Rs 2.14 lakh (on-road Mumbai).
Royal Enfield Continental GT
The new Royal Enfield Continental GT features an old school style that draws inspiration from the classic bikes of the 60's. This Bike GT gets the UCE engine from the Classic 500 which has been re-bored for an increased capacity of 535cc. This engine brings out 29.1bhp of power and 44Nm torque. The 535cc motorcycle gets new disc brake in the front called brembo disk and bybre disc at the rear which gives it more than enough stopping power. The machine also gets a remapped ECU and Paioli suspension. It can well be said that the new Continental GT is the best Royal Enfield in the market today. Despite a few shortcomings, it is a fairly good-looking bike since the design captures your heart and mind.

Design:

The design is achingly gorgeous and dare we say timeless. The retro fuel tank, boxy side panels, traditional round headlight and exposed chassis lends the motorcycle a macho appeal. Oodles of chrome, yellow rear shocks with spoke wheels complete the retro design. The Continental GT is available in two shades GT Red and GT Yellow. Despite its classic appearance, the Continental GT is packed with contemporary technologies.
