Samsung has launched a new smartphone called the Galaxy Core Prime. The gadget has officially been listed on the company's website and presently gone on sale in India. The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is priced at Rs. 9,275. Although the South Korean company is yet to announce official availability of the new smartphone, the handset has been seen listed on Flipkart - an e-commerce website.
The Smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and it supports dual-SIM. This mobile has come up with a 4.5-inch WVGA - 480x800 pixels and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It also comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, and has expandable storage via microSD card up to 64GB. The Smartphone is equipped with 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. There is a 2000 mAh battery onboard. As far as connectivity is concerned the handset flaunts Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3G.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime measures 130.8x67.9x8.8mm and supports a matte body finish with metal sides. It also includes an accelerometer and proximity sensor. It is currently listed in three colour variants - Charcoal Grey, White, and Silver.
