Samsung has recently launched the latest Galaxy Grand Prime in India at Rs. 15,499. Asim Warsi, Vice President, Marketing, Mobile and IT at Samsung India, said that they were introducing the new trend of 'Groupfie' Galaxy Grand Prime featuring an advanced wide angle front camera best-suited to capture group images. The gadget is priced at Rs 15,500.
The company further claims that the device is equipped with 85 degree wide angle lens on the 5-mega-pixel front facing camera, while there is an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera also on-board. This model supports dual-SIM feature and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It also features a 5-inch qHD -540x960 pixels PLS TFT display. The gadget is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that is coupled with 1GB of RAM.
In regard to storage capacity, the gadget has 8 GB of internal storage with micro-SD card support that is expandable up to 64 GB. As far as connectivity is concerned, the smartphone includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS and 3G. The device is powered with a 2600 mAh battery. It measures 144.8x72.1x8.6mm and weighs 156 grams.
