Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant, is facing stiff competition in holding its market share in the spheres of mobiles as could be evidenced from the fact that during the last quarter, the Company’s sales remained sluggish. With the apprehensions of Apple – it arch rival US Company – gaining ground with its planned production of new iPhone (iPhone 6S) during this year, Samsung is reportedly planning to advance its date for the launch of its new version of Galaxy Note to the middle of next month.
There are lot many rumours afloat about the upcoming phablet that Samsung would release next month. The Wall Street Journal believes that Samsung would most probably make the announcement of its new gadget in mid-August this year, while it would be available for sale with the retailers sometime soon after that in September. It is however rumoured that Samsung would for the present release only a single version of Galaxy Note 5 that would either flaunt QHD or 4K Super AMOLED screen. The device is further likely to support USB 3.1 which would essentially mean faster data transfer at a speed up to 10 GB per second.
Information and specifications about the device are sketchy, but it is believed that the phablet would be powered by Exynos 7422 chip. The size would be 5.89 inches while the thickness would be lower than that of its predecessor (Note 4). The battery is expected to be of 4,100 mAh capacity. With the improvements as stated above, the device is likely to catch the imagination of gadget lovers all around. Please wait and watch!
