Samsung has brought out another rabbit from its hat. In the Mobile World Congress, 2013 (MWC 2013) at Barcelona, Spain, the electronic giant has sprung a surprise by announcing the launch of Galaxy Note 8, putting to rest a lot of stories and rumours one the subject.
Galaxy Note No 8 is a smaller version of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1. It is just 8 inch gadget quipped with a stylus. As compared to its bigger version, The Tablet has a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, which is a definite improvement over its bigger version that has 1.4 GHz processor. The OS for the smart-phone is Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). The 2-GB RAM provides it with adequate power. With a 5 MP rear camera, the usefulness of the gadget is all the more enhanced.
Samsung has not announced its price so far. Looking to the past trend, and in the light of the present level of competition, it is expected the gadget would be costing a small fortune – may be in the vicinity of Rs 20,000/-. Let’s wait till the Company comes out with its announcements on this score. The marketing success of the gadget would certainly have relevance on the pricing element as well.
