Sony has recently launched a new DSLT camera called Sony Alpha 58. The Alpha 58 is entry-level D-SLR in the company's catalog today. The camera is priced at $599.99 with 18-55mm lens. The Sony A58 offers advanced photographic features and picture-taking skills at a price that can be termed consumer-friendly . The Sony A58 is a new interchangeable lens camera, which uses Sony’s unique Translucent Mirror technology.
The camera features a 20.1 megapixel APS-C sensor. It delivers sharp pictures that are much detailed, showing the image quality of highly expensive cameras. It measures just 3.9 by 5.1 by 3.1 inches and weighs a mere 1.3 pounds without the lens. It also flaunts an improved electronic viewfinder -EVF, which now boasts OLED technology for improved brightness and contrast. The camera has come up with 5-point phase-detection auto-focus system with 3 cross sensors and has a good ISO range of 100-16000. The Sony A58 can shoot at full-resolution of 20.1 megapixel pictures at up to 8fps whilst maintaining continuous auto focus. The A58 features an adjustable rear 2.7-inch LCD which comes at the bottom and can be tilted down by 45 degrees and up by 90 degrees.
