Sony has on Wednesday, launched two new lens-style cameras, the E-mount ILCE-QX1 and DSC-QX30, which are priced at $400 and $350 respectively. It is expected by the company that the QX30 will be available in this month, and the QX1 will be available in the month of November at Sony retail stores and other retailers countrywide.
The company has introduced two smartphone-mountable camera lenses at IFA in Berlin. The QX30 comes with a powerful 30-times big optical zoom. The QX1 on the other hand allows users to insert any E-Mount compatible lens and connect and manage it from the smartphone. The new E-mount ILCE-QX1 interchangeable lens-style camera features a 20.1-megapixel lens with a very delicate APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor and a Bionz X processor. In addition to this it has improved area-specific noise-cut for stunning low-light images. The Sony QX30 features a 20.7 megapixel 1/2.3-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor with the focal length of the lens going from 24mm on the end to 720mm telephoto end, that gives users an useful 30x optical zoom range.
