Sony on Friday has started rolling-out Android 4.4 KitKat updates for its Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual smartphones. Sony had launched both these smartphones with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean earlier this year in March.
The company also says that it has brought relevant improvements and changes to several native apps like Messaging, Smart Connect, TrackID, Sony Select, and Battery Stamina Mode and Sony’s Media apps like Walkman, Album and Movies etc.
As far as specification concern, the Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual vary on the basis of number of SIM card support. Both of the phones come with a 4-inch WVGA display with 233ppi, are powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8210 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and have 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage with external memory support for up to 32GB using a microSD card.
