LG has a reputation of improving its products on a constant basis. The Nexus 5 it launched about two years ago was under its radar for upgradation. There was therefore little surprise that the leak of its new avatar of the older version was received with quite some interest in the world of gadgets. Our readers will please recollect, we presented a review of Nexus 5 in our issue of 20th November 2013 (link). The leaked version gives an insight about the technology LG has evolved in the creation of this mobile.
Nexus 5 (2015) will have quite some upgradation and new features vis-à-vis the older version. The old version of Nexus has a 8-MP rear camera – which was the standard practice of high-end mobiles then – it is understood, the leaked version would have the rear camera of 13 megapixel. The camera, moreover, is reportedly equipped with certain novel features like autofocus and dual LED flash for quality pictures. It would also have a rear mounted fingerprint scanner to enhance its utility still further.
Some of the notable specifications of the gadget, it is believed, are: 5.2-quad HD Display, Snapdragon 808 Processor, 3 GB RAM and of course, a 2700 mAh Battery. The Nexus 5 (2015) in all probability will have USB-C connectivity as well. The leaked picture of the device does confirm the rumours afloat about its look, design and features. Hopefully, the phone would be available for sale towards the end of this month. It would be in three different shades – white, black and light blue – and would have Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its Operating System.
