Internet hackers are always trying to steal database of popular platform and one of them is Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) who is in this profession from 2000 and hacked so many websites such BBC,Tango Chat and now the global phone directory called TRUECALLER.
They not only hacked the database of the true-caller but also openly posted screenshot of database on their offical twitter page and also posted data database administration details which are as follows: Database Host: http://dbv1.truecaller.net | Username: tc_admin_login | Password: google123 | Database Name: truecaller_ugc

The main reason behind get hacked is of using outdated wordpress version installed and that too having simple and easy crackable password. This app called truecaller is being used by billion of peoples from all over the world on various platform mainly android, ios, symbian, windows phone, blackberry os, etc to know the phone directory of unknown person calling or texting. There data such as phone numbers, mobile number, bank details, credit card are know on public and can be easily be misused. So, our advice to delete everything you saved in truecaller and also uninstall the app. Please tell your friends and colleagues to stop using it if they don't like to be public. This incident happened on 17th July at 8:54 AM.
