We believe, most of our readers are familiar with the popular TrueCaller application that basically provides Caller’s ID of those who are not listed in their Phone Book. To begin with, we give below a brief introduction of the application itself before proceeding any further.
TrueCaller was founded about 6 years ago in 2009 with the objective of helping identify numbers beyond the Phone Book by the use of smart services. With the introduction of TrueCaller, the Android phone became smarter, as it would not only initiate number and name look up, but would also help discover people one may be knowing. It further verifies and customizes the TrueCaller user’s own number profile to let people know who he actually is when he calls them. Thus, the application lets the user search for contact information (based on name or number), identify incoming calls, block calls he does not want to receive, and make personal contact suggestions based on time and place. It is amazingly simple and useful.
With such useful features, TrueCaller has become fairly popular with several smart-phone manufacturers putting this as an in-built application. The latest news indicates that the application now has 100 million users worldwide. TrueCaller’s tweet reads: Today we are happy to announce we have reached 100 million amazing Truecaller users.
TrueCaller on the occasion announced the release of the new version of its application. It is a redesigned version aimed at providing easier discovery and simpler navigation, with lighter memory consumption. The new Truecaller will completely transform the mobile phonebook experience with a smarter set of features that will improve the user’s daily life.
