Vivo launched its latest Smartphone called Vivo X5 Pro in India on 22nd July 2015. This Smartphone was already launched in China and it has been available in China since mid-May. This Smartphone is priced at Rs. 27,980 in the Indian market and will be available for purchase starting August 15 this year. The company also launched the Vivo V1 Max in India which is priced at Rs. 21,980, but has not yet given the details.
According to Vivo those who book the phone before July 31st will get an opportunity to win gifts, also a Vivo X5 Pro could be won every day. Pre-booking of this Smartphone has already started. Alex Feng (CEO of Vivo India) said at the launch that – ‘Today we are here to celebrate our flagship innovation for the Indian market. We are confident that this model will not only delight the Smartphone fans, but also it will set the benchmark for next-generation design, manufacture and Hi-Fi music performance in the industry. Along with it, comes our extreme commitment to quality service pan India.’

The main features of this Smartphone are a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and 2.5D glass, Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Funtouch OS, Adreno 405 gpu, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2450 mAh battery. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The amazing thing about this Smartphone is that it will feature Gorilla Glass on the front and back of the handset for protection and it’s just 6.4mm thick which makes it the slimmest Smartphone. Also, Vivo X5 Pro has a Cirrus Logic DAC AK4375 audio chip for Hi-Fi audio.
