Western Digital Red disks are now available from 1TB to 6TB and support one to eight bay NAS setups. The Red line is aimed at home and small business NAS setups and the Red Pro targets higher which is designed for a large businesses. They supports a disks range from 2TB to 6TB.
Today, Western Digital took the twisted off its latest advance high ability of 5 TB and 6 TB WD Red consumer NAS hard drives. The company kindly announced people off about the new drives, a couple of weeks ago and shipped to Western Digital WD Red 6TB drives to review.

Customers who are not looking to build a multi-disk array but still want to take advantage of 6TB drives should look towards WD’s it is also new Green 6TB. As the Green drives don’t have NAS / RAID-specific optimizations, they are generally less-expensive at this time.
