WhatsApp is up for new update to its Android app containing new features. The application is launched officially under beta testing programme through Google Play. The popular instant messaging service has in a week released multiple builds of its Android app, adding new features such as ability to copy links from chat, improved control over chat clearing, and more.
The users who cannot wait for the new version to hit Google Play can download it from the company's site or via the new Google Play beta testing programme.

There are 3 main features available in the WhatsApp. They are:
1. Shared Link History Tab
This tab consist of all the links, images, videos shared with your friends from beginning with timeline.
2. Copy URL
According to the screenshots of links tab in WhatsApp for Android, the links will appear with rich preview and on tapping will open the chat conversation. The feature will allow users to easily browse through the shared links between friends and family without the need to star them.
3. Clear History Alerts
When user want to delete conversations, Whatsapp will prompt user "Clear Chat older than 6 months", etc.
This will help users to clear chats or move them to archives.
