WhatsApp today has officially announced the a new desktop app for both Windows and Mac OS. Like WhatsApp Web, our desktop app is an extension of your phone: the app mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device," the company said in a blog post.
The application is available for both Windows and Mac OS. The app stays synced with WhatsApp on your mobile device, allowing you to communicate with other WhatsApp users in your list while your handset remains in your pocket.
