Windows 8.1 costs Rs. 10,999 and 8.1 Pro costs Rs. 18,999. I tried the Upgrade Assistant from a Windows 7 PC and got these prices. Unbelievable!!

Its a free upgrade for existing Windows 8 Genuine and Windows 8.1 Preview users but If you are coming from older versions of the OS you have to pay the fee or go the pirate way (although we don't encourage that).
