A high-school girl called Eesha Khare, from San Jose, California, has created a gadget which fully charges a mobile phone battery within 15 minutes. The charger turn on an external battery and does not require an electricity socket. According to the Petalite Battery Systems developer, Aston University graduate Leigh Purnell, the device can fully charge a phone in 15 minutes, that could mean an end to ever running low on battery power.
Researchers claim that Eesha Khare have invented the world's fastest external phone charger and the invention was presented at one of the world's most prestigious science fairs this week, where Khare was given a amount of £33,000 as a prize.
This project of Petalite Battery System have taken support from the Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employ-ability Network BSEEN programme, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. People who are setting up businesses by offering mentoring, are supported by BSEEN team workshops, as a business grant and work-space.
The Flux battery will soon be launched on the IndieGoGo crowd-funding website.
