Xiaomi a Chinese company has come up with product called Mi Box Mini. The gadget is priced at $30. The Mi Box Mini runs on Android and supports Dolby DTS audio and 1080p output to TVs. It is capable of streaming full HD videos. It is equipped with a Bluetooth remote and is available in a ton of different colour options like red, orange, purple, blue, and yellow.
This tiny Mi Box features a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU instead of the dual-core Cortex-A9 of its predecessor. The company claims Mi Box Mini has the ability to decode H.265 stream. The gadget is coupled with Mali-450 GPU from ARM, which offers reasonable performance for chosen workloads. Xiaomi's new Mi Box Mini is cheaper than Google's Chromecast that is priced at $35. Despite its small in size, it runs on a quad-core processor, which means it is able of handling multiple tasks without getting stuck. The box will be available for pre-order starting Jan 20, and orders are expected to ship a week later. If this product performs as promised, it could be one of the most capable streaming devices on the market.
